This academic year, as the Pro Futuro Theologiae Foundation, we are returning with a monthly series of seminars open to ALL, to be held at the Faculty of Theology of the Nicolaus Copernicus University (UMK) in Toruń.
Science and religion are two different spheres, very often presented as irreconcilable. However, we want to bring about real changes – in education, in parishes, in our approach to science and faith. We want to show that these two worlds are not alien to each other.
The seminar was based on an analysis of texts by Max More, a key representative of transhumanist ideas.
Father Paul Orzeł CSsR attempted to interpret these texts from a Christian perspective, especially in the context of salvation and the promise of happiness.
