This academic year, as the Pro Futuro Theologiae Foundation, we are returning with a monthly series of seminars open to ALL, to be held at the Faculty of Theology of the Nicolaus Copernicus University (UMK) in Toruń.
We would like to invite you to the next scientific seminar in the Scientia et Fides series entitled ‘Transhumanism and Artificial Intelligence’, which will be held on 27.03.2025 at the Faculty of Theology of the Nicolaus Copernicus University at 14:00 in room 3a.
The lecture will be given by Piotr Duchlinski, Ph.D., Professor at UIK in Krakow. The event will focus on the relationship between transhumanism and artificial intelligence as a viable force for projecting the future of the human species. During the meeting, there will be no shortage of references to the ethical aspects of the development of contemporary technologies and their impact on humans.
Seminar participants will have the opportunity to discuss the aforementioned topics. The invitation is especially directed at students, doctoral students and researchers interested in philosophical reflection on the topics related to the future of technology and its ethical references.
