This academic year, as the Pro Futuro Theologiae Foundation, we are returning with a monthly series of seminars open to ALL, to be held at the Faculty of Theology of the Nicolaus Copernicus University (UMK) in Toruń.
We would like to invite you to the next scientific seminar in the Scientia et Fides series entitled “Modern Physics and Ancient Faith”, which will be held on 8.05.2025 at the Faculty of Theology of the University of Nicolaus Copernicus at 14:00 in room 3a.
The paper will be set in the context of Stephen Barr’s well-known book of the same title, but will be expanded with the speaker’s personal reflection and adapted to our local context. It promises to be an interesting and in-depth look at the relationship between science and faith.
Participants in the seminar will have the opportunity to discuss the topics mentioned above. The invitation is especially extended to students, PhD students and researchers interested in philosophical reflection on topics related to the future of technology and its ethical references.
